Stargate sophomore Allison Pippert placed second overall in the girls 3A final, covering the 5-kilometer course in 18:47.6 at the Colorado High School Activties Association state championship meet at Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs. Pippert did not compete at the state meet as a freshman.
