Niwot sophomore Taylor James finished second in the girls 4A final at the Colorado High School Activities Association state final at Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs. James covered the 5-kilometer course in 18:35.4 to help sweep the top two spots with senior teammate Layla Roebke, leading Niwot to its first girls team title with a 47-59 victory over Battle Mountain.
