Heritage Christian seniors Seth Bruxvoort and Levi Killian finished first and fourth in the boys 2A final at the Colorado High School Activities Association state final at Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs. Bruxvoort won the individual title, covering the 5-kilometer course in 16:09.3 and Killian clocked 16:55.8 for Heritage Christian, which also received a 13th-place overall finish from senior Keaton Case to help secure the program's first team championship with a 12-38 victory over Lyons, as only the top three athletes in the lineup score for each team in 2A.
