Heritage Christian senior Keaton Case finished 13th in the boys 2A final at the Colorado High School Activities Association state final at Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs. Case covered the 5-kilometer course in 17:41.7 for Heritage Christian, which also had seniors Seth Bruxvoort and Levi Killian finish first and fourth to help secure the program's first team championship with a 12-38 victory over Lyons, as only the top three athletes in the lineup score for each team in 2A.
