Ben Conlin, a senior at Rampart High, secured second in the boys 5A final by covering the 5-kilometer course in 15:26.95 at the Colorado High School Activities Association state championship meet at Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs. Conlin, who eclipsed the Rampart program record at Norris Penrose Events Center, improved from 19th place last year in 16:24.1.
